Lehigh Valley Quilt Study Meeting: October 2016! Part One

We had some wonderful quilts brought in this month!  So many that I'm going to have to break up the photos into multiple posts again.
Sherry was new to our group and brought two wonderful pieces!  This one was a family quilt she inherited:

and this wonderful goose track!

We had some wonderful things related to quilting discussed and brought in this month.  We were all fascinated with the cotton boll Carolyn brought in.  She had gotten it from Texas:
Sue P. brought in a few quilts for us:
Check out the color combo in this one below (one of my favorites for the day):

Lorraine B. brought this amazing piece in!

Jayne brought this wonderful piece in, I want to make one:

Yes, there is much much more to show!  Tomorrow I will post the quilts that Pat and Arlen brought in!  We have at least three days worth of photos for the blog!  Have a wonderful day!

  1. These pictures are wonderful! I am so sorry that I missed the meeting, but I had another meeting for the Slate Belt Museum to attend. The museum has been gifted with a fabulous 1880 friendship quilt that I am going to bring to the next meeting. See you then.
