I worked retail a total of 17 years; I started as a teenager and kept working in retail after my first husband left. Often it was a second job because back in those bad old days, the state didn't pursuit deadbeat fathers for child support.
But today is about celebrating! For the last 30 some years, I haven't had to work on Black Friday. Yippee!

I'm not shopping black Friday either in stores or online! I've got soup in the crockpot and I'm ready to go sew. What a wonderful way to spend a Friday!

ReplyDeleteI worked retail, too, for a few years when our kids were young and we needed some extra money. So I know Black Friday from that side of it, too! We try really hard not to do any shopping on this day, too!
