Happy Worldwide Quilting Day!

Today we celebrate quilters all around the world!  I love to learn about quilters from all different areas of our planet. Often you can find their work on Instagram or Pinterest or blogs.  I know a lot of websites are having special events so you can google to find more about that!   I thought I would just post a few articles I found interesting and that you might enjoy!

Sewing Group in Greece, photo is dated 1928.  By the way that isn't a Nazi Swastika on their hats.  Greeks use of a swastika symbol goes back to ancient times and was a symbol of good luck.  Hence, the use on an ancient Greek coin:
