Happy Labor Day!

I'm going to rest and do some sewing today so this is a brief blog post. 

 Of all the many women we could recognize on Labor Day, I'm going with Francis Perkins.  She was the first woman cabinet member and during the New Deal, established Social Security, Unemployment Benefits and a variety of other programs which in essence, saved our country during the Depression.
