I've been meaning to post more illustrations that inspire me to create a similar quilt (see post here).
Unfortunately, I'm usually running at 90 mph and I write blog posts very quickly before I have to be (or drive someone) to an appointment.

I love Eloise Wilkin's art. There is a picture in E. W.'s Baby Dear book where the mother is holding her baby in front of a picture window (remember those?) sunset and the little girl is holding her doll. That is my absolute favorite illustration. I think the quilt in the first picture is my favorite but it might have something to do with the wallpaper. So cute!
ReplyDeleteEloise Wilkins illustrations are wonderful. I have a hard time parting with the books. Even though kids and grandkids are well past them, Grandma is not.
